If you are 16 years of age, you are entitled to ride a 50cc moped with a provisional license and a CBT with L-plates. If you are 17 then you are entitled to ride up to a 125cc motorcycle or scooter on a provisional license and a CBT with L-plates. Also, if you passed your full car test before 2001, you are entitled to ride a 50cc moped with out L-plates with out taking a CBT test.

Peugeot have now released the Speedfight 3 50cc.  This model has updated styling and has an optional stereo system that can be fitted into the seat bucket. It is available in air or liquid cooled versions with prices starting at £2019 OTR.
