We are looking for a experienced part time or full time motorcycle technician to join our busy team here at Bacon's Motorcycles. We have been trading for over 30 years in the motorcycle trade and we are a main agent for Kawasaki & Royal Enfield Motorcycles along with Kymco & Sym Scooters, as well as offering a wide selection of used Motorcycle and Scooters. 

The main duties of this role are; 

-To carry our servicing and repairs on motorcycles and scooters in a safe and efficient manner

- To use your skills, knowledge and initiative to test and diagnose faults.

- Conduct a safety inspection of each Motorcycle and Scooter that is worked on

- Tyre fitment

- Electrical work

- General repair work

The ideal candidate must have the following:

The successful candidate must have experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment as well as all aspects of servicing and modern engine work. From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.You must be a self-starter with a flexible can do attitude, have a good attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team. A full bike and car licence are essential.

Previous workshop experience

Up to date knowledge on modern motorcycles and scooters

Be able to work in a team or on your own

High level of communication

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Full motorcycle licence

Own tools

Be able to work a 5 day week (8.45 – 6pm) Full time or a 3 day Week part time

If you are a qualified MOT tester that would be an advantage
