Counter Assistant / Customer Service Advisor
Location: Bacons Motorcycles, Eastern Avenue, Ilford
Hours: Full-time (5 days) or Part-time (3 days) | 8:45 am - 6:00 pm
Salary: Based on age and experience + Bonus Scheme
Are you passionate about motorcycles and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Bacons Motorcycles, a trusted name in the motorcycle trade for over 30 years, is seeking a Counter Assistant / Customer Service Advisor to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.
About the Role:
We're looking for individuals who love motorcycles and have a friendly, positive attitude. Previous experience in motorcycle retail or general retail is a bonus, but not essential. Most importantly, we want people who enjoy helping customers and being part of the local biking community.
Main Duties:
- Represent Bacons Motorcycles and its brands with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, in person, and online.
- Provide excellent aftersales support while identifying opportunities to upsell products.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure top-tier customer experiences.
- Build strong relationships with customers and the local biking community.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- A genuine passion for motorcycles.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work Saturdays.
- Highly motivated, personable, and detail-oriented.
- Computer literacy.
- Broad motorcycle knowledge (preferred).
- A full motorcycle and car driving license.
Desirable:
- Previous retail experience, ideally in the motorcycle industry.
